Essential oils for Norovirus and Stomach Flu:

Essential oils can be used topically, Inhaled, diffused, or some may be ingested. They are effective and easy to use for all ages.

The key to essential oils is “less is more.” They are not to be applied directly to skin without a carrier oil. A ratio for mixture of essential oil for topical use should be 3-5 drops of essential oil with 0.5-1ml of carrier oil such as coconut, hemp, olive oil, jojoba, or almond oil. The ratio for diffuser or steam inhalation oils should be 5-10 drops per 12oz. of water.

For Norovirus/Stmach flu I diffuse in my house and apply to my stomach area: oregano oil, peppermint, ginger, lemon, fennel and lavender. I reapply the topical oils to my stomach 3-4 times a day.

Oils safe to ingest MUST BE Food grade essential oils and I have attached a list of FDA approved essential oils for ingestion. When consuming oils always mix with a yogurt or protein based liquid never put directly into water as they need a binding agent. 1 drop of lemon oil =40 lemon rinds so “less is more.”

Oils safe for Ingestion: 1 drop only for ingestion 1-2 times per day.

Basil, peppermint, ginger, bergamot, clove, dill, eucalyptus, frankincense, lemon, orange.
